Dance

Theater
“The Sublet Experiment,” a new romantic comedy by Ethan Youngerman, will begin an open-ended run. Instead of using a conventional theater, the play will be presented in a different New York City apartment each weekend. Directed by Michelle Tattenbaum, the production will travel from neighborhood to neighborhood across the five boroughs for an audience of twelve at a time. Opens Nov. 16. 8 p.m. $20. (212) 352-3101.

Beer
Enjoy a taste of Germany as Loreley on the Lower East hosts a beer tasting lead by Rudi Eilers. The nine authentic German beers will be complemented by a traditional meal of an appetizer of escarole and endive salad with caramelized pears, blue cheese and walnuts, an entrée of beer-braised spare ribs with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes followed by dessert of cinnamon battered apple rings with vanilla sauce.
